					| Shrewsbury 3-3 in Athletics Win |
					| Randy Shrewsbury was instrumental in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Houston Astros. The second baseman was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Oakland Athletics. Elijah Daniels was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. The Athletics improved to 42-45.
Oakland relied on the hitting of Sakae Kasahara to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Athletics on top, 4-2. For the game, Kasahara had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Shrewsbury said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
