					| San Francisco Beats California, 6-4 |
					| San Francisco first baseman Jack Henningar made his presence felt in the 6-4 Giants triumph over the California Angels. Henningar was 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs. Ricky Rodriguez, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 6-6. San Francisco raised its record to 47-41 with the win.
Henningar had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Giants went on to win.

Henningar called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
