					| Chicago turned a good effort from starter Ricky Salas into a win over the California Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The final score was 5-2. Rhett Beers, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 17th save. Chicago has now won 3 straight, while the Angels have lost 3 in a row. 
 Randy Rosenberry took Danny White deep in the top of the first. His solo  home run put the White Sox on top, 1-0. In all, Rosenberry had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
