					| Twins Bridle Reds, 4-2 |
					| The Minnesota Twins faced a tough opponent in Cincinnati pitcher Eddie Grape, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Great American Ball Park by a final score of 4-2. Grape went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Ruben Requena in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Jay Rapini took the loss. Mike Torres earned the save for Minnesota, his 1st.
Minnesota used the clutch hitting of Miguel Gonzalez to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Twins the lead, 4-2. For the game, Gonzalez had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Minnesota manager Jorge G Twins. "It's usually not just one thing."

Minnesota now has a 3-game win streak.
