Arizona Takes League Championship Series
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Arizona Diamondbacks are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Atlanta Braves are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.

The Diamondbacks took a 5-4 victory at Chase Field today, which gave Arizona a 4-2 series win.

With the win, Arizona will advance to play in the World Series.

"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Diamondbacks left fielder Joel Kunkler, who was named series MVP.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will play against the Montreal Expos in the next round. Montreal won their series against the Chicago White Sox 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
