					| The Toronto Blue Jays thumped the Texas Rangers, 9-1, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Danny Burnside was a big reason his team got the win. Burnside was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Toronto, at 55-24, is 6 games up in the American League East Division. 
 Jon Schick, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Schick contributed a 2-run  single in the top of the third inning to put Toronto up, 3-0.
