It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Rob Hinojosa today. Hinojosa went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off University of Illinois pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Illinois Field, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions had a 26-0 victory over the Fighting Illini.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Rob Hinojosa singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ross Ledford in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th.
