					| Brewers Upend Pirates, 4-3 |
					| The Milwaukee Brewers faced a tough opponent in Pittsburgh pitcher Stan Stirnweiss, but did just enough to pull out the victory at PNC Park by a final score of 4-3. Stirnweiss went 8.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Jamie Blake picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-1. John Owens finished the game for Milwaukee and earned his 11th save.
Milwaukee used the bat of Junzo Kato to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Brewers ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

After the game, Milwaukee manager Andy Pafko III applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

At 38-39, the Brewers claim 4th place in the National League Central Division.
