 The Oakland Athletics stopped the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-5, at O.co Coliseum. The Athletics got a big game from Muneo Kawachi, who went 2-3 with a home run, a double,  and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. Elijah Daniels was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.
 
 In the bottom of the fourth, Oakland left fielder R.J. O'Brien had a productive at-bat. With  the bases loaded and no one out, O'Brien stroked a 2-run  single to center. It made the score 4-3, Oakland. For the game, he was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.
 
 "Feels good to get the job done," Kawachi said after the game.
