					| The Baltimore Orioles topped the Houston Astros, 6-3, in American League action at Minute Maid Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Baltimore pitcher Jay Rapini. Rapini got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Rapini allowed 2 runs. The triumph makes Baltimore 22-51. 
 Saimei Kudo, who finished 5th in the AL in hits with 199 in 2045, contributed to the Baltimore win with a 2-run  home run in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
 
 "There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Rapini. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
