					| The New York Mets took Toronto pitcher Spencer Jones's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Rogers Centre. The final score had New York getting past the Blue Jays, 4-3. Jones went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 3. Robbie Beerbower earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 7-2.  Chris Thurner earned save number 5 this season. 
 In the top of the eighth inning, third baseman Drtian Thaqi came through big-time for the Mets. With New York trailing 3-2, he belted a solo  home run.
 
 "We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Toronto skipper Max Meany.
 
 With the win, New York raised its record to 35-35.
