					| Stacy Hootentootin pitched a gem to lead Chicago to victory over the Cleveland Guardians, 5-1. Hootentootin, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. The second-place White Sox now have a win-loss record of 38-29. 
 Chicago relied on the hitting of Brad Boals to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run  home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the White Sox on top, 4-0. For the game, Boals had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
 
 "I still think this team can play even better," Boals told the Chicago Gazette.
