Blue Jays Suffer 3-1 Loss to Indians
|
Pitcher Guo-quiang Chen was sensational for the Cleveland (APP) Indians in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Bluefield Blue Jays. Chen received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Robert Torres nailed down his 27th save. With the win, the Indians have a record of 58-83.
Chipping in for Cleveland (APP) was third baseman Dave Lanman. He stroked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth. For the game, Lanman went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"We put together a nice win," Chen said.
