		| DeVillier Clips Cyclones for Cycle |
		| John DeVillier won the battle against the Brooklyn Cyclones, but lost the war.
The West Virginia Black Bears third baseman hit for the cycle today, but it wasn't enough to bring home victory. The Black Bears fell to the Cyclones 9-5 at MCU Park.

"John did great but we couldn't put everything together today," West Virginia manager Kevin Gausman said after the game.

DeVillier collected 4 hits -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- plus 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.

John DeVillier tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Matt Allert in the 8th.

DeVillier has collected 20 hits for the Black Bears this year, 3 of them home runs. He has also netted 15 RBIs and scored 21 runs while batting .250.
