					| Rangers Improve to 32-30 with 7-3 Win |  
					| The Texas Rangers beat the Houston Astros by a score of 7-3. Texas second baseman John Giesbrecht deserved the lion's share of the credit. Giesbrecht went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Rangers. Kevin Ovens-Toots, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-7. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 10 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Kyle Curve converted his 2nd save in 3 tries. 
 Giesbrecht had a key at-bat for Texas early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run  home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave Texas an early 3-0 lead.
 
 In postgame comments to the Texas Gazette, Giesbrecht said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
 
 The win puts Texas at 32-30 this season.
