					| Cubs Pull Even With 6-2 Victory |
					| Chicago and Milwaukee got after it at Miller Park.
The Milwaukee Brewers got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Geraci. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Chicago. The Cubs won the game, 6-2. Geraci came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. Ryohei Uda got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Brewers to 1 run on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2.

Chicago used the bat of Steve Bartman Jr. to capture the win. The second baseman jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Cubs ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"It's good to win," Bartman Jr. told the Chicago Gazette. "I like to have fun doing it."

The 4th-place Cubs go to 29-29.
