					| Horncole Homers Twice in 8-1 Giants Win |
					| The 8-1 San Francisco win over Atlanta was due largely to Carey Horncole. The Giants shortstop went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. San Francisco is now 29-28, Atlanta 29-26.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Horncole, who is tied for 4th in the NL with a .592 slugging percentage, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Giants into the lead, 4-1.

Horncole told a San Francisco Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
