					| The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Washington Nationals, 1-0, in National League action at Citizens Bank Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher James Woods Jr.. The Phillies raised their record to 22-34. 
 Quintin Parker went 1 for 4 for Philadelphia. The 28-year old third baseman  had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring  ground out off Joe Hincks. It was his 5th RBI of the season.
 
 "I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Philadelphia manager Paul Husch said afterward.
