					| Getting an impressive start from Pimbly Nimblebottom, Texas beat Chicago by the score of 4-1. Isaburo Ishihara was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Their 27-26 record puts the Rangers 4th in the American League West Division. 
 Texas needed the clutch hitting of Blake Ballard to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run  home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rangers on top, 4-1. For the game, Ballard had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
 
 "A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Ballard after the game.
