					| The Washington Nationals picked up a win at Nationals Park, knocking off the Atlanta Braves, 4-2. Starting pitcher Danny Diaz played a key role in the triumph. The win puts the Nationals at 20-27, while the Braves drop to 24-24. 
 Mark Rennie, who finished 3rd in the AL in batting average with .344 in 2039, aided the Washington cause with a 2-run  single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
 
 "Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Diaz.
