					| Astros Get Past Kansas City for 3-2 Win |
					| The Kansas City Royals got a superb performance from pitcher Bryan Boykin, but the Houston Astros still won the game, 3-2. Boykin threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The win belongs to Bill Dillard in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Josh Moncada took the loss for Kansas City. Houston now sits in last place in the American League West Division at 20-24.
Danny Merrill was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This joint was rocking," said Merrill.
