		| Soto Batters University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Big Time |
		| It was high-fives all around for Jose Soto at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium today.
He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels. Soto smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 9-2 win.

"Jose was hitting everything," said Owls manager Carlos Sencion. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Tar Heels manager Dansby Swanson told BNN beat writers that Soto "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Soto oversleeps next time."

Jose Soto hit a solo-shot off Isaiah Irving in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Isaiah Irving in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Vince Sumpter in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Posting a .447 batting average to date, Soto has 9 home runs and 28 RBIs.
