					| Astros Upend Blue Jays, 5-3 |
					| The Houston Astros defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-3, in American League action at Rogers Centre. Jack Christie pulled his weight. The 8-year veteran hit 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was Aaron Shapiro. His record is now 1-4. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits for the Astros. John Mathis, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save.
Houston used the bat of Eric Chotkowski to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Astros ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"Feels good to get the job done," Chotkowski said after the game.

The Astros saw their record improve to 17-20.
