					| Phillies Stumble, Lose to Yankees |
					| Philadelphia got a terrific game from catcher Chef Belew. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to New York, 10-2. Belew was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win has New York at 13-21.
Adriaan Pieters, who finished 3rd in the AL in doubles with 45 in 2040, aided the New York cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I thought we played a nice game," Pieters told the New York Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
