					| Atlanta Beats Cincinnati, 4-3 |
					| The Atlanta Braves picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, knocking off the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3. On the mound for Atlanta was left-hander Matthew Spurrell, who played a pivotal role in the win. Spurrell got the win, improving to 6-0. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. Spurrell allowed 1 run. Victor Munoz finished to wrap up his 6th save.
Atlanta relied on the hitting of Jared Speck to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Braves on top, 2-0. For the game, Speck had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Atlanta manager Andres Wray II. "It's usually not just one thing."

With the victory, the Braves upped their record to 19-15.
