					| Behind a solid performance from center fielder Randy Rosenberry, the Chicago White Sox defeated the Boston Red Sox, 5-4. Rosenberry went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles,  and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the White Sox. Ricky Salas, the winning pitcher, is now 4-2. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 1. The second-place White Sox sport a record of 19-15. 
 Joseph Disepolo, the 2041 Most Valuable Player Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Disepolo contributed a 2-run  single in the top of the fifth inning to put Chicago up, 5-3.
