					| Getting offensive support from Jack Christie, the Houston Astros topped the Oakland Athletics, 9-7. Christie went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Astros. Mat Pear got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the Athletics to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 3. Their 15-18 record puts the Astros 4th in the American League West Division. 
 In the bottom of the seventh, Houston shortstop Jeremy Trump had a productive at-bat. With  runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Trump stroked a 2-run  single to right. It made the score 9-3, Houston. For the game, he was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
