					| Orioles Nip Mariners, 4-3 |
					| Seattle second baseman Malik Brookshire had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to Baltimore at Safeco Field. Brookshire went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. Andy Rondeau picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-2. Omar Colunga was tagged with the loss. Chris Dauphin earned the save for Baltimore, his 5th of the year.
Baltimore used the timely hitting of Marc Peckermark to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Orioles on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Peckermark said.

Baltimore, with the win, sits at 10-24.
