Naturals Flame Out Against Navarro, Biscuits Thursday, August 8th , 2047 Magic was in the air and on the mound at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today as Dave Navarro held the Northwest Arkansas Naturals spellbound in his 9-0 shutout victory. The Montgomery Biscuits pitcher went the distance, rang up 3 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Naturals to 4 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Northwest Arkansas manager Zac Rosscup said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." Currently Navarro has a 11-9 won-lost record in 22 starts with a 3.28 ERA. He also has 88 strikeouts in 142.2 innings. |
