Red-Hot Morales Scorches Titans Monday, November 26th , 2046 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Marco Morales today. Morales went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off California State University at Fullerton pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Goodwin Field, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the University of Florida Gators had a 10-0 victory over the Titans. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Marco Morales singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Patrick Wilcox in the 5th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Morales is hitting .250 with 4 home runs. |
