Diaz, Mans Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, September 18th , 2046 Jose Diaz of the Vanderbilt University Commodores and Silvian Mans of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 11 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Hawkins Field. So far this year Diaz has hit .269 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Season-to-date Mans has 1 save in 16 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 4.12 ERA. |
