Zeiset Magic in 4-0 Shutout Saturday, December 22nd , 2046 Joe Zeiset kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Cleveland (WIN) Indians were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Chicago (WIN) Cubs at Indians Developmental Complex today. The right-handed Zeiset gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 12 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Zeiset said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." On his stats sheet for the year Zeiset shows a 2-3 record, 5 starts, 37.1 innings, 47 strikeouts and a 4.58 ERA. |
