Brewers Cruise to Divisional Series with Sweep Tuesday, January 23rd , 2046 Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the Division A Round 1. It turned out quite a bit different. The Milwaukee (WIN) Brewers swept aside the Chicago (WIN) White Sox to advance to the Divisional Series, winning the final game by a 6-2 score at Maryvale Baseball Park. The series MVP was right fielder Gabe Harvey, who hit .667 with a .750 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 0 runs. "We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it." The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
