Padres Dominate, Sweep Wildcards Series Thursday, November 1st , 2046 The San Diego (APP) Padres outclassed the Missoula Osprey in all facets of the game throughout the NL Wildcards Series. The end result was a San Diego (APP) series sweep to advance to the Division Series , capped off by a 13-2 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said second baseman Eric McMillian, who hit .474 in the series. McMillian's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .565 on-base percentage and had 2 home runs, drove in 12 RBI and scored 10 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
