Kingsport Mets Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, October 6th , 2046 Matt Allert said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Kingsport Mets after they missed the Appalachian League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Mets had made the playoffs 13 times in a row. In the 31 years they have been a Appalachian League franchise, they have made the playoffs 25 times. |
