Vallejo Spins 25-0 Shutout Tuesday, September 11th , 2046 Aaron Vallejo handcuffed the Burlington Royals at Juan Marichal Complex today, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Oakland (APP) Athletics right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Vallejo had little trouble with the Royals and led the Athletics to victory, 25-0. He recorded 12 strikeouts and no walks in an impressive performance. This season Vallejo has a 18-1 record with a 2.10 ERA in 25 starts. |
