Lake Monsters Stevenson Strikes out 15 Friday, May 18th , 2046 Vermont Lake Monsters starter Eric Stevenson brought his best stuff to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium today against the Tri-City ValleyCats, striking out 15 batters in his club's 15-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 26-year-old Stevenson gave up 1 hit in his 8 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." This year Stevenson has a 5-0 record with a 1.48 ERA. |
