Rowdy Players Suspended by League Friday, December 29th , 2045 Joe Miller of Modesto and Ferdi Schipper of High Desert were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Miller will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Schipper was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season Miller is batting .186 with 13 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 8 times and has 5 RBI. Over the season Schipper has thrown 24.1 innings and dished out 27 strikeouts with a 2-2 mark and a 6.29 ERA. |
