Braves on to World Series Thursday, October 18th , 2046 It's not often a losing player is named MVP of a series, but that's the situation Ronnie Ashley found himself in tonight, as the Mississippi Braves beat his Springfield Cardinals to advance to the World Series. Mississippi won the final game by a score of 2-0 at Trustmark Park and took the series 4-1. Despite his strong performance, Ashley was not taking many positives away from the series. "I'm glad I played well, sure, but what good does it do us now?" The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes. |
