Cardinals Advance to Conference Championship Thursday, October 11th , 2046 The Springfield Cardinals are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Colorado (EL) Rockies. Springfield won the Division Championship 4-2, with a 5-4 victory in the deciding game at Hammons Field today. Springfield shortstop Justin Reich was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .381 with a .409 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.
