Durgin 5-for-5 for Jacksonville Sunday, June 3rd , 2046 Today at Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Suns fell to the Tulsa Drillers despite a splendid performance by right fielder Adam Durgin. Durgin had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Drillers pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Jacksonville to come away with the win. Tulsa whipped Jacksonville by a score of 4-3. Adam Durgin doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Ruleman in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Durgin is hitting .305 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 197 at-bats and has played in 54 games. |
