Vasquez and Gilbo Fight, Get Suspended Sunday, May 20th , 2046 Angelo Vasquez of the Fresno Grizzlies and Chris Gilbo of the Tacoma Rainiers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Grizzlies-Rainiers game at Chukchansi Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Vasquez and Gilbo will begin serving them soon. Vasquez currently has a .274 batting average with 34 hits, 4 homers, 8 RBIs, 12 runs scored and a .389 OBP. In 5 starts this season Gilbo has compiled a 3-1 record and a 2.10 ERA. |
