					| Blue Jays Drop Athletics, 5-3, with Late Score |
					| O.co Coliseum was the site of a competitive game between the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays.
The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at O.co Coliseum, knocking off the Oakland Athletics, 5-3. Starting pitcher Tony Rios was a big reason why. Toronto reliever Justin Sedivy picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. George Rubio was saddled with the loss.

Toronto needed the clutch hitting of David Casas to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 5-3. For the game, Casas had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Rios.

 Oakland falls to 12-8.
