					| Athletics Stick Blue Jays with 9-6 Loss |  
					| A good performance from second baseman Randy Shrewsbury helped the Oakland Athletics defeat the Toronto Blue Jays, 9-6. Shrewsbury went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles,  and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Athletics. Kyle Ehret was credited with the save for Oakland, his 6th of the season. The win puts Oakland at 11-7. 
 The game turned with one out in the bottom of the sixth when Shrewsbury, who leads the AL in triples with 3, hit a 2-run  single. It propelled the Athletics into the lead, 8-6.
 
 "Glad to see the fans get into it," said Shrewsbury.
