					| Sanders, Nationals Beat Braves, 9-7 |
					| The Washington Nationals topped the Atlanta Braves by the score of 9-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman John Sanders. Sanders went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Nationals on the day. Washington pitcher Dale Ahernfeld got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jesus Fernandez got the loss. Jakub Kvacek nailed down his 5th save.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dan Fallon? The Washington catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Nationals on top, 4-1. For the game, Fallon had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Sanders.

 Atlanta falls to 10-6.
