					| Atlanta took on St. Louis in front of a lively crowd. 
 The Atlanta Braves topped the St. Louis Cardinals, 9-4, in National League action at Turner Field. The standout performance belonged to Atlanta pitcher and The United States, native Matt Sigurdson. Atlanta, now 9-5, has played well in the early going.
 
 Ramon Villarreal, who finished 5th in the AL in hits with 203 in 2037, contributed to the Atlanta win with a solo  home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
