					| Braves Deal Nationals 5-4 Loss |
					| Atlanta and Washington duked it out and the Braves came out victorious.
The Atlanta Braves did just enough to secure a victory over the Washington Nationals, 5-4, at Nationals Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Franz Holzknecht. Holzknecht, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 4 runs.

Atlanta took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Jeckel Hester stroked a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Braves.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Braves," said Hester.
