					| The New York Yankees got a strong performance from pitcher Arturo Eli, who stymied the Baltimore offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Eli went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 13-10.  Joel Pacheco nailed down his 43rd save. 
 Evan Torraville, the three-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Torraville contributed a 2-run  home run in the top of the first inning to put New York up, 3-0.
 
 "I had pretty good command out there," said Eli.
 
 The triumph puts New York at 87-74 for the season.
