					| Red Sox Clip White Sox, 3-2 |
					| Boston picked up a win at Fenway Park, bumping off the Chicago White Sox, 3-2. Pitcher Ragnar Danielsson was a major reason the Red Sox emerged victorious. Reliever Kyle Ehret picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Tommy Benedict took the loss. Earning his 38th save for Boston was Guadalupe Vasguez.
One of the clutch hits for Boston came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the eighth with one out, Kevin McCormic Jr., who finished 4th in the AL in doubles with 44 last year, hit a run-scoring single to put the Red Sox up, 3-2. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Chicago manager Jake Turnbull.

With the win, the Red Sox improved to 80-68.
