					| Milwaukee Brewers starter Lewis Thorpe Jr. pitched his team past the Chicago Cubs, 6-1. The Brewers  raised their record to 71-78. 
 Milwaukee relied on the hitting of Kisho Ito to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 3-run  home run in the top of the second inning to put the Brewers on top, 5-1. For the game, Ito had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
